Allison Fidler
Plastics Engineering
Class of 2013
A former president of SWE UML, Allison is a project engineer for TESco Associates, Inc., a contract manufacturer of bioabsorbable implantable medical devices. She has been working there for just over 2 years. Through her employment, she took part in a Project Management Professional (PMP) course with the goal of becoming a certified PMP.
Fun Facts:
In addition to her leadership in SWE UML, Allison was also a Region F SWE Future Leader (SWEFL). Though the SWEFL program, she had the opportunity to attend a conference in Austin, Texas to learn more about leadership in SWE. She then went on to organize a region-wide leadership conference which was held at UML.
Furthermore, she was elected to be a Regional Collegiate Representative (RCR) for SWE Region F. She represented collegiate members of the region at regional council meetings and annual SWE meetings, all while finding time to excel in her coursework.

Along with SWE, Allison was also a member of UML’s Society of Plastic Engineers (SPE) and the Tau Beta Pi Engineering Honors Society.
- She has a crazy year and a half old Siberian husky named Arya (after Game of Thrones of course!)
- In her travels she has met two celebrities: Adam Sandler and Josh Groban.

- Allison graduated with her Bachelor’s degree in Plastics Engineering in 2013
- She then graduated with her Master’s degree in the same in 2015
